Recipe for the healthy and fluffy cake Cuore di Frutta

Cuore di Frutta’s cake is both delicious and natural and can be made with a different twist each time. It stays soft and delicate for either breakfast or any other moment of the day, and it is effortless to prepare.


You may prepare it using your Cuore di Frutta favorite flavor:

  • Freshly squeezed Light Orange juice
  • Freshly squeezed Apple, Light Orange, Red Turnip, Pomegranate, Lemon, and Ginger juice
  • Freshly squeezed Apple, Celery, Ginger, and Mint juice
  • Freshly squeezed Tangerine juice

You may surprise your friends with a different flavor each time, and it will surely be a success.


Let’s have a closer look at how it is prepared:

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle (250 ml) of Cuore di Frutta sugar-free Organic Fruit Juice
  • 120 gr of Flour Type 00
  • 120 gr of Manitoba Wholemeal Flour
  • 50 ml of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 170 g of Sugar (or wholemeal brown sugar if preferred)
  • 1 Vanilla Yeast Packet
  • Icing Sugar (the amount needed)

Preparation

  • Take a large enough bowl.
  • Mix yeast and flour with sugar and stir it well with a wooden spoon.
  • Pour the Cuore di Frutta juice in a glass and heat it for about 5 seconds, at roughly 750w in the microwave. Alternatively, heat it in a pot for 30 to 40 seconds (do not boil!).
  • Then, add the juice and oil to the mix.
  • Stir well and make sure to get rid of all lumps.
  • Grease a baking pan of about 20/21 cm with butter and flour.
  • Level the batter in the baking pan through gentle strokes.
  • Heat the oven at 160° and leave it cooking for nearly 30 minutes.
  • Use a tooth stick to evaluate the cooking state of the cake. If the tooth stick is wet, continue cooking for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Take it out of the oven and let it cool down
  • Once it has cooled down, embellish it with icing sugar.
  • For those with a sweet tooth, and to lessen the tingly feeling of the tangerine’s essential oils, you may garnish it with custard.
